Do your ideal clients know what you want them to do?

In the last two articles, we’ve talked about the Compelling Question and the Authority Positioning Statement which are two of the pieces of the Ultimate Facebook Ads formula.

Now, we are going to have a deeper look at the Irresistible Call to Action part. Now, this may seem obvious to you, of course, we want them to click the link or image… or like, comment and share… but it might not be obvious to them. And remember, they are sitting in a hypnotic trance mindlessly thumb scrolling through the newsfeed LOOKING for something to jump out at them. Or they are reading things and nodding in agreement, but what good is that? We need to give our audience clear specific directions on what we want them to do, then we take a little bit of the guess work out of the entire equation. ... → Read more

Do you know which FB ad type to choose?

Yesterday, we talked all about the FB pixel. And the next thing to do is start creating ads, but where do you start? Well, you start at the end. If you’ve run any FB ads, you know there are a lot of different types to choose from. There’s so many and it can be really confusing! Now I break all of these down for you in The Ultimate FB Ads Masterclass this coming Friday and you can REGISTER HERE… but let me help you out a bit right now.
  • If you are a local business who wants to get in touch with more local people, use “Local Awareness” objective.
  • If you want to get more reach on your posts, use the “Reach” objective.
  • If you want to get more people to click on the link in your post to go to your website, use the “Traffic” objective.
  • If you want to grow your email list, use either the “Lead Generation” or the “Conversions” objective.
You can see there are lots of objectives to choose from and getting that first choice right will mean everything to your success with your ad campaign. So, I want you to get really clear on what it is you want to accomplish with your next ad and recognize you can’t do it all at once. But if you at least start with the RIGHT OBJECTIVE you have a much better chance at success. WANT TO KNOW MORE? REGISTER FOR THE MASTERCLASS HERE.

And you’ll likely use more than one ad over and over to reach your overall objective, so let’s say your objective is to grow your email list, you wouldn’t want to just choose “Conversions” and not have all the pieces in place to make that work and you’d want to use some “traffic” ads and some “reach” ads and maybe even some “engagement” ads to increase all the traffic and interest in what you are offering, before you even start your “conversion” ad, because all of those ads, will increase the success of your conversion ad. It’s a process. ... → Read more

FB Pixel? What the what? What is it and how to use it.

Do you have your FB pixel installed on your website yet? Does that sound like a little bit of Greek to you? Don’y worry, it’s really not that complicated but if you are planning on doing any FB ads this year and you have a website and you want to track your results, then getting your FB pixel installed is not optional. Simply put, it’s a small bit of HTML code, that you create within your ads manager on Facebook, then install on your website. Super easy to do and I walk you through exactly how in The Ultimate Facebook Ads Masterclass this coming Friday, register HERE. What does it do? The little bit of code, sits on your website. It doesn’t change the look or feel of your website at all, it’s invisible. But whenever someone comes onto your website to read a blog post, or find out your store hours, that code is activated and it drops a “cookie” on that person’s computer. A cookie is just a little snippet of code as well. It’s pretty standard on the internet and your computer collects cookies on almost every site you visit. Now, when that person heads back to FB, the code on their computer communicates with FB and if you have an ad set up targeting people who have been on your website, FB will drop that ad in their newsfeed for them to see. And when they see it, they’ll remember you and your business and be much more likely to click through and visit your site, or call you again. Pretty cool right? Let me add this… have you ever googled for a vacation spot you are dreaming of going to? Looked at the hotel or flights but didn’t book? Then headed back to FB and low and behold, there are ads for the very hotel or airline you were just looking at? Well that’s using the FB pixel and it’s called “retargeting”. And you can do it too! WANT TO KNOW MORE? REGISTER FOR THE MASTERCLASS HERE. Imagine how much deeper you can take your relationship with people if you can engage with them on FB after they’ve been to a specific page on your website. Your ad can speak to whatever it was they were looking at. Super cool right? It’s not too hard to set up, I walk you through it all in the Masterclass and take you through the set up of a high converting Facebook ad, all this coming Friday. Join the Masterclass HERE. Facebook’s Recent Changes Are A Good Thing For Business

Recently Facebook made another change to the way our Facebook page posts are viewed, or not in some people’s minds. It seems that Facebook will be giving greater reach to posts that come from your friends than from businesses – organically. Now since Facebook was set up as a social network for people to connect with people this isn’t a bad move right? Since people complain about too many people doing business on Facebook it isn’t bad, right? Here’s the thing… my friends and family’s posts should come first; I agree with that. Then relevant business posts should come next for me. And how does Facebook know what’s relevant to me? Based on my previous engagement is one of the keys, so if I haven’t engaged with any of your posts for awhile, then I likely won’t keep seeing your posts, sounds good to me, too! After all, why would I want my newsfeed cluttered up with posts from people and businesses I haven’t engaged with for awhile, right? Now some are saying your organic reach will go as long as 1%… that’s ok too and here’s why. ... → Read more
